mash-up aesthetics at the intersection of art, technology & politics

Obama’s Internet

Everybody knows how the Obama campaign has seized the power of the internet to transform electoral politics, fundraising, and civic engagement…

An Obama ADMINISTRATION will be play an historic role in safeguarding and shaping the future of the internet. Come join activists, artists, educators, geeks and other creative thinkers in an open forum hosted by Harvard Law School professor Charles Nesson. What should Obama’s platform say about the internet’s role in promoting democracy, education and free speech? How do we ensure that a net-savvy campaign translates into a government that supports not just net neutrality but net empowerment? The forum will take place at GalleryXIV, the South End home of ABRAHAM OBAMA, a transcendent piece of political art that highlights the bi-partisan and multicultural nature of Obama’s candidacy.
